I studied art education at Illinois State University. Go Redbirds! I absolutely love teaching and creating art. My hobbies include making art, cooking, being outdoors, traveling and spending time with my family.
It is my goal to encourage students' creativity and knowledge to become life-long learners. My students are amazing artists who constantly surprise me with their wonderful creativity, passion for learning and genuine caring. My passion for art and teaching children has enabled me to create and implement lessons that appeal to students interests while teaching them new skills and techniques, as well as giving them a broader understanding of art history, aesthetics and criticism.
