Second Grade Teacher

I have been in education for 24 years in different capacities.  This will be my fifteenth year teaching.  I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grade. Educating young minds has always been a passion of mine.  I enjoy helping children reach their full potential by helping them develop skills to become life-long learners, fostering a growth mindset, setting goals, and creating a supportive environment.  I focus on the whole child and believe every child deserves the best education possible.  

I have a fiancé and no children.  I have seven cats.  I am family-oriented and a big animal lover.  Some things I enjoy doing in my free time include arts and crafts, jigsaw puzzles, listening to music, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
