Mrs. Buske- Student Support Coordinator

Hi! My name is Heather Buske.  I am so excited to be the Student Support Coordinator at Benson Primary! I have been teaching in Itasca District 10 since 2003. I completed my bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northeastern Illinois University. I have also completed my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Mary’s University. I am currently continuing my education through Aurora University and pursuing a masters in Educational Leadership. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. It is my goal to provide a learning environment to every child that is welcoming, collaborative, challenging, and provides a safe space to grow, learn, and make mistakes. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher and to help them grow academically and personally this school year!
