Hi! My name is Susan Celenza.  I am so excited to be teaching First Grade! I have been teaching in Itasca District 10 since 2005. I completed my bachelor’s degree in from Illinois State University. I have also completed my masters degree in Elementary Education from National Louis University. I also have an endorsement to teach English Language Learners.  Outside of school, I enjoy walking my dog Holly, crafting, reading, and seeing my grandson.  It is my goal to provide a learning environment to every child that is welcoming, collaborative, challenging, and provides a safe space to grow, learn, and make mistakes. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher and to help them grow academically and personally this school year!
